		<description>You are right on Sam. No one gives a rat about tradition at the BCS,yet they use it as a defense to their system. They have already ruined bowl tradition. What little tradition of college football remains in tact needs updated to the 21st century. Down with bowl games, lets get a playoff!</description>

		<description>I think there are grounds for a much longer post here considering the full impact of the BCS&#039;s dreadful formula on tradition. Just a couple for starters:

1. The utter destruction of the New Year&#039;s day mystique. Remember when every major bowl game was on Jan 1st and playing on that specific magical date meant elite status?
Remember when the BCS kicked that to the curb to increase TV revenue?

2. Non Conference schedules. Remember when winning your conference and getting a bowl invite was the best thing that could happen so a quality road loss to a major team was better than whipping up on your local blind-school?
Remember when the BCS made 12-0 more important than actual observable quality. Dare I even mention the concepts of character, pride and bravery?</description>
