Hey everyone, as none of you probably know, I am a big supporter of charitable causes. I got an email about a charity that is incorporating college football, so I couldn’t ignore it. By helping them out you can get a chance to win bowl game tickets this year, so it’s a pretty cool opportunity. Just wanted to post it here for you all so you all have the chance to help out, here is their press release:
PSGive.org and KAB Aim to Clean Up America with College Bowl Game Tickets
Unique Online Event Allows Supporters to Compete for tickets to any NCAA bowl game benefiting Keep America Beautiful
New York, NY – Aiming to increase awareness and raise money to reduce waste, promote recycling, and improve communities, Keep America Beautiful and PSGive.org have set up an online event running from now through December 9th where supporters can compete for an amazing deal on a bowl game trip: two tickets plus hotel and airfare for any NCAA bowl game in the continental U.S.
PSGive.org has recently launched its innovative web-based product designed to encourage on-going charitable contributions by rewarding participants. In the recent trend of social-change focused organizations, this new site shines above the rest due to its unique model to encourage charitable participation. By engaging supporters in exciting online events where they may compete for amazing deals, the charities with whom PSGive.org works are able to reach a broader segment of society that may have previously been uninterested or unwilling to give. Recent supporters have walked away with backstage passes to Broadway’s Rock of Ages and and Apple iPad, each for under $10.
Rather than dropping hundreds of dollars on a single charity dinner, and ignoring auctions that are far out of their price range, supporters have the opportunity to participate in these online events and compete for deals in an exciting and fun way.
Other 501c3 non profits currently using PSGive include Keep America Beautiful, ad Children’s Defense Fund – New York, with dozens of other organizations in discussion for adopting the program.
With decreased staff and slashed budgets at many non profits, PSGive thankfully handles 95% of the details in setting up the program for the organizations.
