I applaud those who caught the Red Stripe reference in the title. Unfortunately it seems this college football season Sloppy Joe caught a bit too much football…or just spent too much time on the couch. I’ve now gained over 30 lbs. since getting married and it’s time to change! Has anyone had luck putting a treadmill in front of the TV? Did you actually use it? I’m thinking of getting one because I found this treadmill reviews website that has discounts on a bunch of models. I’d like to think I would use it, but want to know everyone else’s experiences first. Treadmill: yea or nay?

Check Out The New WCC Logo!

TCU head coach Gary Patterson has left a cryptic remark for us all:

“All I can tell you is this: Just wait and see in the next two weeks before you make any judgments and see what happens in the national landscape,” Patterson said. “Things that I know that maybe you don’t know. That’s all I’m going to tell you.”

Wah?!?! Let’s see here, there’s only two things Gary Patterson could know that we could not- the fate of the MWC or the fate of TCU. So which do we not know?

My College Football Man Cave

College football season is almost upon us. The excitement is tangibly in the air. So of course, to get ready I had to get my new man cave set up throughout the year. This year features a new 52″ plasma HD TV, leather sofa and love seat, lovesac and Tivo. I am so set to watch as many games as my wife will allow…usually one a week Now if only I could talk her into letting me get a pool table, then I’d have the ultimate set up. How is everyone else preparing for the upcoming season?
