Sorry, but I think that Dan Beebe and teh Big XII-Lite are still losers.

-They received a extension on their current ESPN/ABC deal originally for 12 teams now for just ten. It is hard for the conference to claim damage and ask Nebraska and Colorado to forfeit revenue for two seasons, if there was no financial loss.

-The new contract with Fox Sports Net is only words and not on paper. News Corp. can come in at any time between now and the contract signing and change numbers which would not be as favorable to the conference.

-Texas was so passive/aggressive that they really offended many in the state and out. Doss threw out the idea of them being independent before the two weeks of banter, so we know that they really did not have a conference as their best interest interest, just Texas. OU was still a b*tch to Texas and aTm looked as if they were going to stand up, but did not.

-Utah can not recruit better athletes, especially in Colorado and California since the Buffs are down and USC has scholarships taken away. They are now at the BCS table as opposed to looking pretty to impress the Dons.
