Bones’s Bowl Preview: Home Stretch
Well, we’ve gone through 31 of the 35 bowls. Thankfully, the ACC isn’t in any more of them, so I might be able to get the outcome of one correct. Given the way the last several games have gone, however, I doubt it…
Let me be frank here, however: These bowls only serve to irritate us. The Cotton Bowl is a legitimate high-level bowl matchup, so it can stay during BCS week. The other two have no excuses being this close to the national title game. Let’s do this quickly:

Looking Ahead To 2012
Well now that the 2011 season is in the books it is time to look ahead to the 2012 season. Wait, what? There’s still more games? Oh, because I was under the impression LSU had already played Alabama and beat them so…you know, didn’t think those two playing each other again was worth mentioning. And I suppose there are a few other trivial bowl games that no one knows about or cares about. So let’s be honest, 2011 for all intents and purposes is over. Let’s look ahead to 2012.

Bones’s Bowl Preview: ACC BCS Blowout Edition
So in a year during which the conference was derided for its mediocrity, the ACC wound up getting its first ever double invite to the BCS. All eyes will be on the performance of Virginia Tech and Clemson in the coming days, and it’s in the best interests of the conference to win both of these games, handily if possible. Given that one of the teams involved is the team to which I pledge my fan allegiance while another one is a hated rival school from the Big East, I am almost certainly the worst person to be doing this analysis. Michigan fans, I apologize in advance. West Virginia fans, I’d apologize, but I know you can’t read this anyhow.

The Annual CFC Rankings Are Done
As is now tradition, I run my own formula to determine fair computer rankings at the end of each season. I’m working on doing this for all teams and doing it each week throughout the season, but I have to find a programmer for that to happen. In the mean time I calculate these myself and I got some very surprising numbers this year. But first, a bit about the rankings.

An In-Depth Look At A Playoff Scenario
There has been a lot of positive feedback from our new college football playoff proposal, but a lot of people still have questions.
